Over the May bank holiday weekend 2017, St Phillip and St James' Church in Hallow held a flower festival in order to raise funds to purchase a new roof for the church, as it is in desperate need of repair.
The event was a great success, with plenty of visitors coming to view the different exhibitions. There were some absolutely beautiful displays of flowers, that were really cleverly thought out.
Clearview donated £100 of sponsorship in order to support the worthy cause.

History of the church
The present church was built in 1869.
The church was designed by Mr W. Jeffery Hopkins, a Worcester architect. It is built mainly of local sandstone brought from a quarry at Holt, Worcester.
The flying buttresses, which support the roof, are a notable feature of the design but these proved so costly to construct that it was not possible to build the tower until 1879.
